The holidays are right around the corner, and that means finding ways to spend quality time with your friends and family. First rule in the book of hosting guests is to keep them entertained for their stay. Lucky for you, Garden City has a great deal of events and activities to bring you holiday cheer!
Murder Mystery Night - at Potter Wines
Watch your back! Potter Wines is hosting an Ugly Sweater night, with a twist. A murder mystery breaks out at the Snowflake Lodge and it’s your job to help them find the culprit!
A ticket to the event will grab you a glass of wine or beer, a charcuterie plate, and two hours of detective work on the clock. For $45, Check it out on Friday December 16th from 7-9pm!

Christmas in Color (lights)
Put Christmas into color with the Drive-Through animated light show to kick start the holiday season! Right off Glenwood at Expo Idaho, drive through millions of lights and see a synchronized performance to some of your favorite christmas songs!

Powderhaus Christmas Market
After an exhausting day of shopping on black Friday, check out the Weihnachtsmarkt Euro-Style Christmas Market! Right off Chinden Blvd in Garden City. You have two days from November 25-November 26th to enjoy a Christmas market that is showcased by local vendors in the valley!
Check out the incredible food, Gluwein, and Handmade goods! Enjoy a little shopping while trying some new drinks and snacks from Europe!
In case you didn’t know, Gluwein translates to glow-wine. It is traditionally served at stalls during Christmas markets so it can keep people warm while they shop and socialize!
Boise Christmas Show!
From December 2-4th check out the yearly event just down the street at the Expo Idaho! This show features entertainment options for people of all ages, and you’ll be welcomed into a holiday market served by over 300 vendors to help you find the perfect Christmas gift or Christmas decoration piece for your home. And Santa will be there, so it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the man himself!

Holiday Wine Tasting with Enlightened Vine
Join Enlightened Vine on December 2nd with a holiday wine tasting! Grab your friends and family and try a vast selection of wines and participate in raffles and wine discounts! From 5:30-6:30, for just $18 a ticket per person, you can try some holiday wines that are brought from all over the world for a night of holiday fun!
Make Your Own Christmas Bulbs
On Saturday, December 3rd, Split Rail Winery is bringing in Flowersmith Gardens to provide a pot, bulb, and greenery to create a bouquet and watch the blooms unfold! Wine Not Give: West Valley Humane Society
The holidays are all about spreading love and giving back, so check out Split Rail WInery for their monthly give-back night! On December 6th, get into the holiday spirit and bring your friends and family to enjoy a glass of wine or tasting, and Split Rail will donate 20% of sales from that night to support our local West Valley Humane Society.

Telaya Design: Holiday Floral Arrangement
On Saturday, December 21st, grab a glass of wine and create a beautiful floral arrangement in a DIY class for the holidays! Bringing in the team at Fifty Flowers, the class will walk you through making this arrangement and all the materials you’ll need, plus a glass of wine! From 7-9 pm, bring your friends and family for a night of fun and creativity.
