WESTERN IDAHO FAIR
The Western Idaho Fair boasts a summery mix of time-honored fair events (4-H competitions, bake offs, fried indulgences) with intoxicating fun for the whole family (big-name concerts and a hopping fairway). It’s no wonder this is the biggest, most well-attended fair in Idaho!
REPEAL DAY CELEBRATION
Take a break from the holiday frenzy with a trip back in time. The local wineries and craft breweries of Garden City are celebrating the day in 1933 when pesky Prohibition was repealed. Toast to legal libations as you enjoy live music, food trucks, holiday deals, and drink specials. Hint: Extra perks may be in store for those who dress in period costume, but no pressure!
BOISE MUSIC FEST
This massive one-day music festival attracts thousands of people to Garden City every summer to see acts like Pit Bill, Tone Loc, and about 50 local artists across multiple stages. You’ll hear everything from rock to hip hop, country to acoustic. But there’s more than music here! Check out the carnival rides, food vendors, and activities for kids.
EXPERIENCE GARDEN CITY
This is your chance to experience everything that make Garden City an oasis from the ordinary! From Chinden to the Greenbelt, 34th Street will be jam packed with more than 80 local vendors, live music, summer fun for kids, and more. Let Garden City’s wineries, breweries, craft coffee, and food trucks feed your body while our talented artists and musicians feed your soul. It’s one day only, so don’t miss out!
CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
Welcome the holidays with one of Garden City’s oldest and most popular traditions. With twinkling lights, live carols, and the big guy himself, this free family event brings out the kid in all of us. Wrap your hands around a cup of hot cocoa, help us count down, and lose yourself in the magic of the season.
Fun fact: In 2015, Garden City became the first certified Bee City USA in Idaho and the 13th in the nation. That means we’re committed to creating a sustainable habitat for these amazing creatures. Want to know more? Bring the family to our annual celebration of the bees and butterflies that help feed our planet. We’ll have tasty treats, live music, kids’ activities, and plenty of information on how you can help pollinators thrive.
