About the bands:
~ CHARLIE SUTTON is a singer/songwriter from the Inland Northwest. His folkabilly sound blends country and soul music.
~ JAY WILLIAM MILLER:
Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Jay William Miller has been singing and playing since he was 17 years old. Influenced by the beauty of the state of Idaho and time spent in the mountains nearby, Jay has adopted a unique singer songwriter style that lives somewhere on the borders of folk, classic country, and indie rock. As a former filmmaker and lover of storytelling, most of his writing focuses on telling the stories of ordinary life, hard moments, and the lifestyle of the American West.
~ TRAVELIN’ MILES & HONEY BEAR are a jug band duo from Boise, Idaho. They sing songs about Cadillacs, rattlesnakes, freight trains, long nights, crows and workin’ hard to make a living in these modern times. Their songs are born from American roots of blues, country, folk, jazz and rockabilly. Their instruments are conventional and un-conventional: guitar, banjo, suitcase percussion kit, harmonica, jews harp, washboard, fiddle, washtub bass and saw.
~ THE LONESOME JETBOAT RAMBLERS:
A bluegrass band with some heavy hitters collected from far flung reaches of this mighty land. Coalesced from the hills of Vermont, the swamps of Florida, the spruce bogs of Alaska, the foothills of Boise, and the pine barrens of New Jersey, the Lonesome Jetboat Ramblers serve up red hot bluegrass and ballads that will make your lip quiver with memories of unrequited love. Featuring Steve Baker on banjo and guitar, Micah Deffries on guitar, Ryan Blizzard on stand-up bass, and the amazing fiddling of Adam Straubinger, twinned with the equally smokin’ Justin Moore. Stirring harmonies and just good music make their gigs memorable, if not just to them.
